Why

We are excited to be partnering with SECO on a new destination event in San Antonio ~ Military City USA! This will offer an affordable event for attendees that will deliver high-quality continuing education and fun events, including a night at the Alamo.

Due to the early October timing of Academy and the challenges it posed for the federal fiscal year—along with the high costs associated with traveling to and attending a meeting in Boston ($349 gov't rate) - made it necessary for the AFOS Board to shift plans for the Fall meeting.

**Of note, AAO maintenance of fellowship requires attendance only once every 10 years.
