Craig Jensen, OD, FAAO (Air Force)

Dr. Craig Jensen graduated from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry and is currently stationed at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He is the United States Air Force’s liaison to the civilian ophthalmic personnel and an associate professor with Midwestern Optometry School.

Dr. Jensen was born in Reno, Nevada and grew up in Carson City, Nevada. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and finished his undergraduate education at Dixie State University in St. George, Utah. He is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish and is now working on Italian and French. He received his commission in 2011 through the Health Professions Scholarship Program. He is happily married, and he and his wife have two wonderful children. Dr. Jensen is also a wilderness medicine enthusiast, and he enjoys exploring the outdoors.
