AFOS Member, Dr. Andrew DiMattina, will present a 1-hr COPE accredited course titled "Visual fields in the Management of Glaucoma". 

This course will review different visual field strategies and uses in the management of glaucoma. We will review the different selections of fields and when each program might be best effective in the diagnosis and ongoing management of your glaucoma patients.

Dr. Andrew DiMattina

Dr. Di Mattina is a 2005 graduate of the SUNY college of Optometry. He was a student and then resident at the Baltimore VA, completing his residency in ocular disease in 2006.

After four years in private practice in upstate New York, Dr. Di Mattina started his VA career in 2010 as a staff Optometrist at the Manchester VA in Manchester, NH.  While in New Hampshire, he taught the second-year course, “Ocular Manifestations of Systemic Disease” for the MCPHS school of Optometry from 2016-2018.  

He was promoted to Chief of Optometry at Manchester in 2017, then transferred and has been the Chief of the Greenville HCC eye clinic since 2018. During his tenure in Greenville, the eye clinic has expanded their student education program and started an ocular disease residency program in July 2023.  

Dr. Di Mattina was a member of the lectures and workshop committee for the American Academy of Optometry from 2014-2023 and co-chaired the Academy Grand Rounds section from 2018-2023.

Dr. Di Mattina has presented ocular disease lectures both nationally and internationally.  

He is married with three boys and lives in Greenville, NC
