The International Keratoconus Academy (IKA), an educational society whose mission is to promote ongoing professional education and scientific development in the area of keratoconus and other forms of corneal ectasia, is thrilled to offer all members of AFOS, Active Duty Service Members, Veterans, Federal Service Optometrists/ Ophthalmologists, Students, Residents and Fellows, completely free registration for in-person or online registration members for our upcoming 2nd Annual Keratoconus Symposium on May 18-19, 2024 in Bethesda, Maryland. While the registration fees are already incredibly low for 10 hours of COPE continuing education, everyone on the planning committee, including the company that runs the event (MJH/Optometry Times and Ophthalmology Times) unanimously agreed and felt that this is the only way to convey how much they greatly appreciate the sacrifices and service that AFOS members provide. The knowledge gained from the symposium will directly improve quality of care for the patients AFOS members care for. The IKA Keratoconus Symposium faculty is made up of many of the most well known experts in Ophthalmology and Optometry that specialize in cornea, Keratoconus and other corneal ectatic diseases. Please check out our agenda and faculty on our website.
