Jeffrey Wilson is a dedicated 2nd Year Optometry Student at the University of Houston College of Optometry. He has a passion for providing excellent eye care services to patients and is constantly working towards honing his skills in the field. Jeffrey is currently serving on the American Optometric Student Association’s Board of Trustees, where he plays an active role in shaping the future of optometry and advocating for the profession. He believes that optometry is an essential part of healthcare, and is committed to promoting awareness and education about eye health. Before embarking on his journey in optometry, Jeffrey graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Studies. His undergraduate studies gave him a solid foundation in healthcare, which he has been able to build upon during his time at the University of Houston. In addition to his academic pursuits, Jeffrey is a United States Air Force Veteran who served from 2011-2017. His time in the military taught him valuable skills such as discipline, leadership, and teamwork. These qualities have helped him to excel in his studies and to be a valuable member of the American Optometric Student Association’s Board of Trustees. Overall, Jeffrey is a driven and passionate individual who is dedicated to his field and to serving his community. He is excited to continue his education and to make a positive impact in the world of optometry.
