This 1-hour course will describe emerging evidence from peer-reviewed publications that encompasses clinically relevant dry eye disease findings.
Michelle Aaron, OD, PhD, FAAO
Dr. Michelle Aaron is an Assistant Professor at the University of the Incarnate Word, Rosenberg School of Optometry. She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned her Bachelor of Vision Science degree and her Optometry degree. After graduation, Dr. Aaron joined the Air Force and served for 26 years, retiring in 2022 at the rank of Colonel. She completed an optometric residency in Hospital Based Optometry from the University of Houston, College of Optometry and eight years later, returned there to earn her Doctorate in Vision Science. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and serves on national committees for each organization. In 2024, she was inducted as a board member to serve the Association of Armed Forces and Federal Optometric Services (AFOS).
