Dr. Randy Cox is a supervisory optometric physician for the Indian Health Service at the Anadarko Indian Health Center in Anadarko, OK and at the Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton, OK. He is a 2018 graduate of Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry and completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Refractive and Ocular Surgery at BVA Advanced Surgical Eye Care in Edmond, OK and nJoy Vision in Oklahoma City, OK. Dr. Cox is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. He serves as a Clinical Externship Director and is Clinical Adjunct Faculty for several Colleges of Optometry.
Dr. Cox has a special interest in optometric surgery and offers a wide range of services to patients within the Lawton Service Unit including YAG Capsulotomy, Laser Peripheral Iridotomies, Laser Trabeculoplasty, lump and bump removals, corneal collagen cross-linking, functional neuromodulators, and many other procedures. Dr. Cox is also certified to perform Photorefractive Keratectomy.
Dr. Cox received the AFOS IHS Junior Optometrist of the Year award in 2022. He is a member of the Association of Armed Forces and Federal Optometric Services (AFOS), American Academy of Optometry, and the American Optometric Association.
